Synopsis
After your father's death, things start to get difficult in your life, so you've decided to accept your stepmother's invitation to move back in with her and her daughter, just like it used to be when you were just a kid.
HOWEVER . . .
You are a grown man now, and some things must have changed...
Gameplay
WelCUM To The City is a visual novel with some RPG and sandbox features, where you can upgrade your character skills and your decisions affect the world around you. The intention is that this game is not one more linear story game where you just keep clicking and doing repetitive things again and again. The intro was also planned to be interactive and short so it doesn't get boring.
Content
This game is for those people who like the ecchi vibe with its clichés, where most of the characters are not truly naughty or have an active sex life, but fate ends up causing funny and erotic situations to happen to the protagonist.
Despite this, explicit sex scenes are present in the game, but you won't find much of this type of content in the early stages of the story. Consider checking the current content below to see what is and is not present in the current version of the story or intended to be present in its future.

great game, loved all the updates...until the newest one. every change in the newest version is for the worse imo. the UI was much better before, the new icons on the left side are not intuitive at all...i don't know why some minor changes were made, like still images for when you're sitting at a table with classmates, now it's one panoramic picture, continuously turning...it was perfectly fine before, and this change is just slightly worse, i can't imagine the motivation for it. and now after the doctor visit, the cousin just kicks you out immediately instead of the game transitioning to an interaction screen - another minor change that's just slightly worse. i just keep seeing tiny differences that make me think "why would you change that, it was fine..?" i did notice that the skip button works more reliably now, which is good...but the game still bugs out after 23:00...anyway, if it was up to me, the next update would just be the previous version restored

hey, i played more since posting that, and i saw there are some cool new things in the update, like people will fall asleep while watching tv with you, that's a cute random event (maybe not random?)...looking at my earlier comment again, it's too negative, there's good stuff in the newest update, but i do stand by the specific things i said lol, i think those minor changes were perfectly fine before... BUT, i appreciate the new stuff that was added.
I have a small suggestion for the UI. To leave more space for the icons and screen readability, i would hide the MC stats in a Phone app icon, to check in your Phone. That would leave some empty space up for the Phone and guid icons currently on the right, and the Quick menu could be on the right side, as the real time info is showing on the left side (characters in the area, relationship and stats changes, etc). I believe it can look a bit cleaner. Even a single button to toggle the Quick menu, to hide/display from the right, like a drawer.

Don't worry, you're right about asking.
The codes are a reward for those who support monthly with subscription, as an advantage for Patreon and SubscribeStar, with the polls and posts about the progress too.
Here, on itch.io, the advantage is that you can get the game forever by an one time purchasing. So you can always play the early access.

Does that code unlock new scenes or something like that?
In practice, it just speed-up progress. The codes only unlock edit of stat points. What means you can increase girls intimacy to the maximum and just play what contents are available.

I saved once during the explanation of the physical exam by the doctor and now any other save i load will load that doctor save -.-
Sorry, there may be some incompatibilities during development. I'd suggest you to save during map navigation, when UI appears as safer checkpoints, since on game loading and each map transition, I put a few checking codes to update the data.

I came back to check up on the development of the game and i noticed some AI elements, is that temporary or are you integrating the use of AI into ur project?
It's temporary while they try to add other things to catch up on there deadline or something like that.
I hope it's temporary because the AI stuff is okay, but I'd really prefer if all the content was actually made by the developer

Why not expand more content From the school's NPCs?
Cos for now I'm focusing on the first characters that appear in game until they get at least a little more spicy scenes. Then, I should be leaving it for supporters to vote on what should come next ^^

No, it's just a small debug to prevent errors in NPCs behaviors for now 😅 They reset schedules at 00:00, so if they're awake at this time, game gets crazy lol
Gotta ask i just found out theres a public version and thought do i lose my progress? i mean i dont mind, but its a hassle to repeat everything from scratch

I can say that for now I'm focusing on reworking game structure while developing progress of the main girls (the stepsister and the neighbor) so the game have at least a little more spicy scenes with them and cleaner script.
The rest should come easier after that xD

Yes! The best point is when you're making the pain bar grow at the lowest rate possible. On these points, the flexibility grows at the safest rate. More than that tends to hurt too much, less than that tends to end your time first.

The game is excellent, but I think more characters should be added (some secondary characters would be great), and that you can visit the waifus' houses, like the neighbor's, and have a waifu run the shop

Day 1 is broken in 0.31. Tried it on multiple platforms, the grocery store scene won’t proceed because WSIS always says you got rid of the drink.

Can't progress past the first shopping scene. It insists I removed a drink which I didn't. I have tried many variations of items in the shopping cart to fix this and it still won't work. Makes the game unplayable.

i dont think the mix eggs works, since no matter how many times ive tried the new minigame, the eggs don't become mixe

In the Spanish version of 0.30.1, when I go to the WCOU scene, the text appears invisible. I don't know if it's my computer or a bug.
That's because when Ren'Py generate the files for translation, it creates empty dialogues. Sometimes I just ending up messing it up. Sorry xD
